🍔 Over 50,000 creators served.

Hey! It’s a big month for us at The Leap, and we wanted to share a huge milestone.

We’ve officially hit 50,000 newsletter subscribers. 🎉🎉

If these emails were hamburgers, we’d have served 2.6M of them this year. But who needs a hamburger when you’ve got tips on how to grow your Instagram following? When you have a craving to create a new digital product, what satisfies better than our many guides? Yep, it’s us. All substance, no filler. Name a burger that can do that.

Thanks for being part of one of the largest creator newsletters in the world. We’re here because of you, and you’re here because you love the digital sphere. And together, we are creating a world where creators receive the support they need to make money online. 1 + 1 = 50K. Not sure if that’s girl or boy math, but the math is mathing regardless.

What do you say, double-double it by next year (maybe hold the cheese)? Let’s do it.

The Groundbreaking AI Features Coming to YouTube

Made On YouTube has been an event to watch for announcements that completely change the game for creators. And this year, YouTube revealed a whole new suite of tools for creators, including AI features and a mobile video-editing app called YouTube Create.

YouTube Create proves that YouTube is not messing around when it comes to supporting creators on the path to making great content. Comparisons have already been drawn between this new app and CapCut (a video-editing app launched by ByteDance), According to YouTube, the app can handle the heavy lifting of your editing needs, including precise clip editing, automatic captioning, built-in voiceovers, filters and transitions, and royalty-free music.

Read on to learn more about the new YouTube Create mobile editing app, the AI-powered features YouTube is testing, and more news from the event.

Little Extras

🤖 AI tools are coming in hot to Meta platforms near you. Two notable features to watch: restyle and backdrop. Ready or not, we’ll be seeing more AI-generated content in the near future.

👑 The annual Forbes Top Creators list is out and it features 50 of your fave faces. In total, the 2023 honorees have raked in over $700 million in earnings.

🤫 YouTube is finally easing up on creators who want to discuss sensitive topics. Previously, creators who covered topics like abortion and eating disorders couldn’t monetize, even if their videos could be helpful resources – but now they can.

💬 Reddit has long been known as the internet’s forum where no topic is off limits. So, what happens when monetization comes knocking via its Contributor Program?

🎨 Canva gets in on the AI game with the help of Text to Image, DALL-E, and Imagen – which helps users to quickly generate new visual content.

Level Up With Thinkfic

Listen, we know you’re a savvy digital explorer (that’s why you’re here), but if you’re not monetizing your content yet, we have a few questions. You’re knowledgeable, already running a content platform (blog, YouTube channel, etc.), and get decent engagement from your followers, which means you are likely primed and poised to earn extra cash online.

We get it – you might not want to come across as salesy, change the style of your content, or turn this into a full-time job. Thinkific is here to tell you that it doesn’t need to be drastic. Monetizing your content could be as simple as sharing a few affiliate links, adding a membership or subscription option for VIP content, or adding ads to your website. You could even shave a few hours from your Netflix viewing time to launch a fun, easy, and informative online course directly through Thinkific’s platform.

TL;DR

🙌 The Leap recently hit 50k subscribers! Let’s make it a double-double (skip the cheese) and hit 100k by next year, yeah? Speaking of the future: YouTube is rolling out AI features and a new mobile editing app. Canva added more AI features. And Meta is also launching AI tools. We’re noticing a trend here.

🍰 Making money online is a slice of cake. But don’t take it from us, Thinkific breaks down how to monetize content online, and Reddit is even joining the trend with its Contributor Program.
